This collection of keepsake boxes started as a commission for wedding gifts and grew into a series exploring geometric lid designs. Each box is built from solid walnut with mahogany accents, joined at the corners with hand-cut dovetails.
The lids are where each box gets its identity. Geometric inlay patterns cut on the router table create visual depth without veneer or paint—just two species of wood playing against each other. The interiors are lined with velvet to protect whatever the owner chooses to keep inside. These are the kind of pieces that get passed down.
